Ms. Rivas has over 13 years of experience in the field of licensed clinical social worker with a dual-language and multicultural background. She has experience working across a range of groups which includes LGBTQ+ people, substance users, as well as survivors of violence from intimate partners. She has served Erie patients since 2019. She is currently offering Telehealth Behavioral Health services. Ms. Rivas is part of the Behavioral Health Perinatal Team working with pre and postpartum women. She specializes in trauma-informed healthcare and provides the EMDR therapy to adults. She also offers Group as well as one-on-one therapy, a Medication assisted treatment program, referral for specialty care, Women's support group. Amanda serves as a Best Friends Animal Society volunteer and assists in the search for an appropriate home for homeless animals. Amanda is a firm believer in the Best Friends slogan Save Them everyone and has a passion for helping to make Los Angeles a city with no crime.
